MCA has doubled sales since 2006

MCA associate Brandon Norwood knows about steady steering on a rough road. A veteran of Motor Club of America, Norwood reached Director of Sales on Sept. 19, 2006, two weeks before the collapse of Lehman Brothers triggered the financial crisis. The recession put a crimp in discretionary purchases, and MCA saw sales slip 20% in 2007 to $1.32 million, the lowest revenue total for the company since 2001. Since then MCA has doubled sales, and profits increased 123% after the company made $564 million on sales of $2.5 million in 2011. It's stock price has pushed past $75, up 160% over the past three years. MCA became one of the top roadside assistance companies in the U.S. Norwood attributes Motor Club of America's growth during the tepid economic recovery to a focus on Internet marketing, research and customer service.
